kill animals that swallow or get caught up in it, so
it is always best to put trash in its place.

flash and don't touch and/or feed any wild animal
such as turtles (it is stressful for the animal and
can be harmful for its health; also they are in
danger of extinction.)

snorkeling don't touch the corals (coral polyps or
little animals live on its skeleton or most solid
parts)

Use biodegradable sun
block, repellent and products.

Only take the leaflets and
maps you need and share them.

Buy regional products to
support the local people.

In Mexico it is prohibited
to fish within 250 meters of swimming beaches (bad
fishing practices break the delicate balance of the
reef ecosystems).

They are beautiful, but
don't buy or sell products made of coral, shells,
turtles, sea horses, star fish or shark.

Some hotels in Tulum are
careful with their natural resources. We ask you to
use water and electricity with care. These are
generated using alternative methods (solar panels
and wind power)

don't throw sanitary paper
into the toilet and reduce as much as possible the
use of bags and utensils made of plastic and
polystyrene.

Walk, ride a bicycle or use
public transportation to reduce the use of fuel.
